1757 or 1758[edit]

There seems to be a difference of opinion as to when the Hall was built. I've gone with the guide in the BBC podcast for now. - Dudesleeper talk 03:55, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration[edit]

The following information was removed however the mirrors do not operate to give the optical illusions that they did originally. This is perfectly valid and factual and has been re-inserted into the article Rosser Gruffydd 17:30, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I removed the material because the source didn't mention anything of the sort. Killer Moff (talk) 17:36, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As the author of the article and having visited the site what is your advice as to expressing the actual present condition of the site so as not to give a false impression to visitors and to readers of this article?Rosser Gruffydd 21:38, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
well, given that the site was redeveloped in 2007, you might want to see if there are any articles from about that time that support your statement. The NTS site suggests that it's in very near original condition, but I refrained from adding that as I doubt the reliability, largely based on your original info. If there's no source, it may be better to simply not say anything. Killer Moff (talk) 22:15, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
