The death sentence early November at daybreak, when in Tarnow and Dębicy and Machowa, the last shots could be heard from the already retreating German front. Obviously some friends of his, or even the commandant, from the campaign must have informed the family in Vienna. His mother wrote a pleading letter to the command for mercy for son. Unfortunately, letter came after the death sentence was carried out. ... An order came to bury the body in some nearby cemetery. Therefore, the body was exhumed and concealed to a cemetery in Machowa.
It does not mention who moved the body. Perhaps it was on orders from the military and is more correct account? — CZmarlin 02:50, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Another Polish source Kościół Trójcy Przenajświętszej describes the following: ... he had been shot up in ditch, from where his body moved to a cemetery in Machowej. Once again, nothing about what "the locals were allowed to do." — CZmarlin 03:18, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
