Mr(Ms) Briggs[edit]

I have removed most (Ms) titles refering to Mr Briggs. It is the gender of the character that matters; the gender of the actor is not significant enough to change the title. Joshua Issac 17:32, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Briggs was played by Alun Armstrong, a male actor. Joshua Issac (talk) 11:31, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal[edit]

Our Day Out (play) states that it is a "made-for-filming" play. This is what is commonly known as a screenplay. I recognise that the BBC's commission and screening of the film was under the banner "Play of the Week", but it was never performed on stage prior to being filmed (although I understand that it may have been afterwards). I suggest that the "play" page be merged to this one. Fleebo (talk) 08:15, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "play" is about the version that was published in the books. --Joshua Issac (talk) 20:59, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
