Medjugorje[edit]

I cleaned up the blog spot discussions about Medjugorje inserted into this page. Since Laus predated Medjugorje, the controversy (if any) belongs on the Medjugorje page, as another user also commented. And the references were mostly personal blogs, and some hot enthusiast sites rather than major publications anyway. History2007 (talk) 03:45, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! For those wondering, here's what the Church teaches about Medjugorje. Oct13 (talk) 04:08, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

End-times prophesy[edit]

There's an alleged end-times prophesy attributed to Our Lady of Laus: the message of Laus will be lost until near the end of the world. I have yet to find a source for this so-called "prophesy", but, if anyone knows what it is, should it be added to the article or is it too fanatical? Oct13 (talk) 04:04, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

title, feast day[edit]

The lede says "Our Lady of Laus ... denotes Marian apparitions that took place between 1664 and 1718 ...." Thus the sidebar gives "1664-1718" as date. I would say rather "Our Lady of Laus is a title given by Roman Catholics to Mary as a result of apparitions ...." The 'date' entry in the sidebar would then be eliminated as the devotion of RCs to Mary under this title is ongoing. Otherwise, perhaps the article should be retitled "Apparitions of Mary at Laus".

feast day- this article https://www.roman-catholic-saints.com/our-lady-of-happy-assembly.html gives Sept 27 as the feast day for Mary under this title. there are other sites as well, but none of them gives a source. --134.153.14.79 (talk) 12:47, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
