Comment[edit]

I have a quibble with this trivia item:

Troy never physically appeared on the show except in the final episode as a shimmering outline of light. Only his voice was heard for most of the series.

He appears in the theme song of every episode--though his face is never shown. Also, I distinctly remember an episode where Evie travels back in time and, because of some kind of mishap, is forced to arrange her parents' first meeting a la Back to the Future. There again we saw Troy as a faceless silhouette at the end of that episode. 24.239.167.213 08:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Theme Song[edit]

I have a question for The JPS. I do not mean to question your decision about the theme song. I certainly know very little about copyright law and things of that nature, so I'll defer to your wisdom. My question, though, is why use of the theme song to illustrate THIS article would not qualify as a fair use? Thanks for any information you have and keep up the great work.--Evadb 06:50, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. It's not 'illustrating' the article, though, really. And the article isn't even about the song. There are many detailed articles dedicated to songs, and even there we cannot use their lyrics. Sorry. The JPS 11:30, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I was not aware that lyrics couldn't be used in song articles (not a subject that I've ever edited). It all makes sense. Thanks very much.--Evadb 12:58, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

MAJOR update to this article[edit]

I have made a major update to this article including much more detail about the characters, adding a guest appearances section, and writing a section about the cube. I have also completely re-structured the article to eliminate the “trivia” section, in line with Wikipedia’s policy of not having trivia sections. Please note that I have not deleted anything — everything was moved to some other section, or re-worded. If anyone has any isse with anything I added, please discuss it here. I love this show! Many thanks. Grand Dizzy (talk) 23:13, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Originally, the cube seemed to be more of a telepathic device, since no one other than Evie (and the viewers) could hear Troy's voice, nor could Troy hear anyone other than Evie. However, these rules were changed at the start of the second season, after which everyone could both hear and be heard by Troy." It's not true that no one other than Evie (and the viewers) could hear Troy's voice - Donna and Beano also heard it in the Pilot Episode (so they were doing throw the whole series), and everybody else was also able to listen to Troy's voice. The main point was that Troy was not able to speak directly to anyone else but Evie. Later, a wish has been satisfied to Evie so that Donna also was able to talk to her husband, but no one else (not even Beano). May anyone change the article? I don't no how to describe clearly

Opening sequence[edit]

The opening sequence uses a segment of stock footage of two Starfighters from Buck_Rogers_in_the_25th_Century_(TV_series)Bizzybody (talk) 08:32, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

... okay. Are you proposing to include this information in the article? If so, do you have a reliable source that corroborates it? Powers T 13:33, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This wasn't on NBC, it was syndicated[edit]

Whoever wrote this article probably just watched it on an NBC affiliate that picked up the syndication. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.226.99.120 (talk) 20:03, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
