Restructuring of April 28, 2013[edit]

What is gone:

Items in the “Vectors” section were either about the same as “Vector spaces”, or slightly off-topical.
Vector (geometry) lost (inadvertently) – is it an important topic? (BTW see Space and Vector Wars)

Coordinates vector dropped, because not actually a linear algebra topic, and largely superseded with Cartesian coordinate system and Affine coordinate system (see below).
“Euclidean subspace”: there is a consensus that the meaning of a real finite-dimensional linear subspace is a misnomer. The valid meaning, flat (geometry), is added to its rightful spot under its common name.
Outer product lowered to “Multilinear algebra” section, because is a bilinear (not linear) operation.

What came in:

Structures incorporated all topics previously from “Vector spaces” related to supplementary structures on vector spaces.
“Affine space” becomes “Affine space and related topics” and included affine coordinates and affine-based groups. Because Euclidean, pseudo-Euclidean and similar structures are not parts of the affine structure, the section had to be renamed.

List of linear algebra topics → Outline of linear algebra – This is a topic outline, which per Wikipedia:Outlines#Outlines_misnamed_as_"List_of" should be titled "Outline of linear algebra".
