This guy keeps deleting a SOURCED part of the article. Why not preventing him and his asspain from doing so rather than preventing people from correcting it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.219.228.220 (talk) 01:58, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

One warning only: if I see any hint of a repetition of that edit summary or the abuse above, your IPs will be blocked on sight and the article indefinitely protected. Make your case for inclusion politely, or not at all. Acroterion (talk) 02:11, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That battle is a hoax and the related article was already deleted after a regular procedure (I can't find the exact title apparently). There is nothing to discuss: why the template of a battle should be in this article? --Enok (talk) 03:43, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since we don't have many proofs and the only book who can prove the battle of pont saint-louis is clearly nationalist i think that stats about the battle should be removed for many reasons, one of these is that is an historic fake and basically the french soldiers shot unarmed soldiers who had the duty to communicate the armistice between the countries. Multiple sources in French and English discuss an action (or at least a standoff) at Pont Saint-Louis. Please provide reliable sources that it was a falsification, or that it did not happen according to historical accounts. Whether or not unarmed soldiers were shot doesn't negate the action. Casemate du Pont Saint Louis[edit]

There was no french prisonners. The armistice of the 24 june 1940 was signed. 192.54.144.229 (talk) 12:17, 8 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is a source for the 9 prisoners though. Stickee (talk) 00:31, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It shows 8 French soldiers instead of 9 I am thinking there were prisioners or not

389 French casualties ?[edit]

According to this article, there were 389 French casualties for the sole battle of Pont Saint-Louis. However, according to the Italian invasion of France article, French casualties, for the whole battle of the Alps, were about : 40 killed, 50 wounded, 150 missing.

Which means there is clearly something wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.140.21.144 (talk) 20:04, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This figure is indeed wrong, it exceeds the largest estimation of French casualties during the whole Italian invasion of France (40 killed, 50-120 missing, 150 prisoners, 100-150 missing). See here. Until provided this a better source the figures from Michel Truttman should be preferred. Dyadique78 (talk) 19:19, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancy In Officer Count[edit]

In the “history” section it says there were 11 officers, but in the “Ouvrage Cap Martin” area (to the right of the main text), it says the strength was 1 officer. I believe there may have been I typo but I am not sure which is correct. Please correct. руддщ глкфшту! (talk) 11:57, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
