Salvaging the article[edit]

I came here from the ref desk [1] and made a few changes, following Nyttend's rescue from speedy deletion and wikification work. "Oxalate degrading enzymes" do appear to be a real topic [2], so salvage appears to be the right path, if editors are willing to put in the work.--Wikimedes (talk) 19:58, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed some scientific content and ripped out some WP:MEDRS claims. This topic appears to be subject of some current research, but a quick look at Wikimedes's link suggests lots of it belongs in subarticles for more specific subtypes of this larger class. And it also finds that there are possibly alt-med or unapproved supplements being promoted based on the primary research, so we need to be esspecially careful not to overstate WP:RS ideas.
