GA Reassessment[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

My main issue is the quality of the sourcing. As of this writing, the sources are as follows:

1, 3. Interview

2, 4. An unreliable looking fan-zine

5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 15-18, 20-24. The comic itself, or other comics by the artist

7, 12. Forum post

8. Press release

14. A freaking search engine

19, 25. Apparently self-published sources

Furthermore, the "Characters" section has been tagged with {{primary sources}} since 2015.

It's clear that the article has not been maintained in ages. As a webcomic that was also syndicated it's probably notable, but the current level of sourcing is massively below par. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 21:08, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm HenryCrun, one of the participants in WikiProject Webcomics. I agree that this shouldn't be a Good Article, and I don't think it would be easy to bring it up to that level quickly. It was given that status in 2008, when I assume the standards for a Good Article were much lower. As an aside, there are several other webcomic articles with GA status that probably wouldn't make the grade today; all webcomic GA articles are listed on the project's main page. @TenPoundHammer: Have the issues been fixed. If not then feel free to delist. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:02, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
