Consistency in name format[edit]

We need to have a consistent format of the name of the protein throughout this article. Currently it is called p14ARF, p14arf, p14ARF, ARF etc. Can someone more knowledgeable about the common practice in research correct this? Also, we need to fix the capitalization of the title, especially due to a capitalization redirect interfering... WingsEdge (talk) 05:49, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The title of this page should be "p14ARF", respecting the capitalization. p14 refers to the mass as determined by SDS-PAGE (about 14 kilodaltons), and ARF refers to "Alternate Reading Frame". Also, the "[[G1/S checkpoint]]" should be a link to the G1/S checkpoint. I don't know the semantics to make that happen.Niels Olson 15:36, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is p14arf in this article the same as ARF tumor suppressor? If so, do we need a page merge? Which page's title should be kept? --PFHLai (talk) 23:12, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty certain they are the same, I would be inclined to keep this page's name as p16ARF is the more common name in the literature--Jugglerpete (talk) 14:33, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
