Information[edit]

This is a compilation of Information that I found for this emulator which can be put into different catagories. PCSX(DC), PCSXbox, and PCSX. I thought it was important to get this out, and let people know about this emulator which I found works pretty well. In the format of speedy deletion, Do I need to get the authors permission to release information to not have this done. I compiled this information from main site while researching the other sites that related to this emulator. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rykon9 (talkcontribs).

Re: PCSX emulator: Queried as breach of Copyright / also as O.R.[edit]

I would have serious concerns about this article remaining on Wikipedia, since as the creator has specified, he/she compiled this with information from another website, which is effectively copyright infringement, and also, states that he/she built this while researching other sites. In my opinion, although I don't know how others will feel, this constitutes Original Research...The article is not notable, the subject is not notable, and as far as I am concerned, this article should be removed from Wikipedia. Re: PCSX emulator: Queried as breach of Copyright / also as O.R.[edit]

The page should stay because PCSX is a real, working Playstation emulator. There are only a handful of other programs that can claim that. It has been ported to many different platforms and is in fairly wide use. It is included as a package in many prominent Linux distributions like Debian and SUSE. There are other Playstation emulators that have Wikipedia articles like ePSXe and pSX. It is the only Playstation emulator I know of that is open source. Also, if you are concerned about copyright, please provide some proof of plagiarism. Jikbag 14:00, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why the dumb notability header? PCSX is available in gentoo portage... not notable enough? [1]. Removing the ridicolous header. Genjix 22:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
