Non-Encyclopedic Wording?[edit]

After opening a container of grits this morning, the "PLA Polyfilm" decal it carried piqued my curiosity and I came here to check it out. Some of the language immediately caught my eye: "wearing a stocking"? "These films are very special types of plastic film..."? Ouch.

What's the use?[edit]

Do we really need an article on PLA films? PLA packaging is currently discussed in Polylactic acid and there is nothing special to say about PLA films. Films made from other polymers do not have seperate articles either. Evaa 21:39, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
