I'd like to expand this article with more info from verified sources. Here's an interesting blog entry I found CD Blog—I want my PMCD! UMRK 16:26, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it is really difficult to find information about PMCD. The only "verifiable" source is Sonic Solutions (or, rather, Sonic Studio, LLC), the inventor of the format. For obvious reasons, Sonic, however, won't disclose any information regarding the specifications of PMCDs. I included a link to GreenDot Audio that has a nice summary table. Jord2, however, suggested that I remove the link to avoid free promotion to the company. I tend to agree with Jord2 here but I have no heart to delete the link myself without substituting it with a compliant link of an equally informative value. Also, we need to agree on the correct name of the format. Sonic calls it PreMaster Compact Disc, rather than Pre-Mastered Compact Disc or Pre-Master Compact Disc. Any ideas?
