Fair use rationale for Image:PT109poster.jpg[edit]

Image:PT109poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 16:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Before or after assassination?[edit]

Was the film released before of after Kennedy was assassinated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.97.225.239 (talk) 18:22, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Before. JFK insisted that his crew mates get any percentage profits from the film that would have normally gone to him. Kierzek (talk) 20:44, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This article doesn’t say anything about the film after the assassination. Did theatres continue showing it, was it released more widely, or was it mothballed? How was the long-term fate of the film affected by the assassination? Humphrey Tribble (talk) 20:28, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Kennedy[edit]

I find "Kennedy's father, Joseph Kennedy, had been a Hollywood producer and head of the RKO studio at one point, and he used his influence to negotiate the film rights to Donovan's biography of his son." Presumably he did this NLT 1961, because he was incapacitated by Dec. 1961 stroke. Carlm0404 (talk) 06:47, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Weapon Calibre[edit]

In the last paragraph under "Accuracy," "Kennedy had already provisionally mounted a .37 mm antitank gun on the bow of the 109...," the decimal point in the gun calibre is erroneous. 2601:249:C080:A550:701D:D5D8:2413:743D (talk) 16:23, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
