Palestine is not a country[edit]

Palestine is not a country so why is it depicted as one? And why is Palestine shown on the Olympic Games web site as in Asia and Israel shown as in Europe? Someone is using the web site for propaganda purposes. Islamists have even infiltrated the Games! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.30.4.197 (talk) 13:22, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Its Olympic committee is recognised by the IOC and thus it is allowed to compete at the Olympic Games. They even compete alongside Israeli athletes. 130.88.141.34 (talk) 15:06, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Palestine is a country, and Israel is an occupying military force. It's very simple.

Palestine is a country[edit]

what is the relation between Palestine the country and Islamists? There are Christians and Jews who are also under occupation of what so called "israel". In this talk page, the above title should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Malekobaid (talkcontribs) 07:55, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anthem[edit]

If a Palestinian athlete won gold, what anthem would they play at the medal ceremony, does anybody know? GrahamN (talk)

The National anthem of Palestine presumably. (I wouldn't worry about it though...) Adam Bishop (talk) 09:51, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
