Bad ISBN[edit]

Because it is causing a Checkwiki error #72: "ISBN-10 with wrong checksum", I removed the ISBN from the entry:

The Languages Of Pakistan, Badshah Munir Bukhari ISBN 1-897323-30-2 Parameter error in {{ISBN}}: checksum. London

I have tried unsuccessfully to locate the correct ISBN on the Internet. Knife-in-the-drawer (talk) 05:49, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Palula alphabet[edit]

The article must have a section that discusses about the Palula alphabet. —Etewilak (talk) 01:16, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How is "Palula" written in the native scripts?[edit]

Multiple sources seem to be conflicting with this. Currently, both English and Urdu Wikipedia, along with Omniglot claim that it's written as "پالولہ", yet Punjabi Wikipedia writes it as "پھالولا".
However, the IPA guide on this article's English Wikipedia page claims it's actually pronounced as /paːluːláː/. Based on the fact that the second a is also lengthened, wouldn't that imply that the correct spelling actually is پالولا? ThatDohDude (talk) 23:08, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

FLI Online also seems to write it as "پالولا", as seen in this alphabet PDF: [[1]] ThatDohDude (talk) 23:12, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, after further research, I have concluded that Palula's native name is actually "پالولا", and that "پالولہ" is an incorrect spelling, probably influenced by Urdu's "پھالولہ". Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though! ThatDohDude (talk) 23:34, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ThatDohDude The spelling in Urdu is Phalura or پھالورہ and that Palula or پالولہ is the Khowar spelling. Muhafiz-e-Pakistan (talk) 16:54, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
