WPNI was not sold to Clear Channel - only its FM companion WRNX was sold. Since being acquired, WPNI was LMAed to uMass to carry NPR programming. What happened in 2007 was that the NPR programming shifted to Clear Channel's station WNNZ, which has a better signal and operates at night.[1]. WPNI is stil owned by Pamal Broadcasting and is for sale.StreamingRadioGuide 08:11, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
