Removed several stated differences between fz30 & fz50 which are not differences, but, features of both. Perhaps a feature listing is required.

SDHC capacity?[edit]

SDHC supports capacities well above 4GB (I believe the spec allows up to 32GB), and there are currently a few 8GB cards in production. As these (8GB) cards were not available when the FZ50 was released, there's no mention of support for them in the manual. The article specifies that the supported capacity maxes out at 4GB, but I haven't seen this explicitly stated anywhere. Does anyone know if the DMC-FZ50 works with 8GB SDHC cards? More importantly, does anyone know of a source that can be referenced to support changing the text of the article, if 8GB cards are supported (rather than anecdotal "I bought an 8GB card and it works" claims)? —Erik Harris 17:54, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have 8GB cards and it works. BTW This is the best traveling camera I've ever had. I have two SLRs but I take this camera when I'm going out because it's outstanding outdoors performance and zoom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.121.67.118 (talk) 17:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

sensor size?[edit]

The article gives the sensor size as 1/1.8" (7.176 × 5.319 mm).

  1. Since 1.8 is not exact, why not say 0.5556"
  2. When I convert that to mm, I get 14.11 mm, not what is given in the article. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 21:24, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
