Problem with ref not supporting text[edit]

I tried to rephrase the Career section but I cannot find support in the inline ref for the following sentence : At her request she became a junior investing partner in 2010[9] with Ted Schlein as her boss but was passed over for a senior partner position.[6]

Fred, your edits are the problem. They're clearly biased in Ms. Pao's favor. Outlandish claims such as how her case "resulted in major advances in consciousness of gender discrimination" are not supported by reliable sources. I have tried to keep my personal perspective out of the editing. It is shared by the jury, which found the facts to not support the law of the case. Please review the sources cited in the section I have cited above. They do support the language in the lede which you keep removing. What reliable source reports the claim that I just quoted? The best I could find in your reference was an article quoting the primary source opinion of an ally of Ms. Pao. Significance[edit]

Despite the loss in this particular case, Pao v. Kleiner Perkins focused attention on gender discrimination issues in the venture capital and the technical industry in Silicon Valley and elsewhere. Two additional cases, Chia Hong v. Facebook, and one against Twitter, were filed. It is anticipated that firms in the venture capital and technology industries will pay much more attention to gender issues in the future^[1] and that the case is a landmark case that has focused attention on the issues of gender discrimination and sexism in the venture capital and technology industries.^[2]^[3]

The third citation is actually a quote from an ally of the accuser, not a neutral source. It's also couched in contingent terms, unlike the claim it is "supporting". The second citation is also of this sort. The first citation, meanwhile, simply does not support the claim. Let's look at your first claim as an example. You say, "it is anticipated that...", but never say who is anticipating!
