The diagram is wrong: ideal runtime does not decrease linearly, but inversely. Otherwise if you had enough cores, you could ideally run the job in negative amounts of time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.142.4.173 (talk) 23:50, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
