Untitled[edit]

I'll try to get to this page over the weekend. However if someone else can add in the box with the OMIM, entrez numbers, etc that would be very helpful. Currently the page is rather a mess.... Gacggt 16:02, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PARK2[edit]

PARK2 is not the name of the gene. Parkin is the name of both the gene and the protein it produces. PARK2 designates the type of Parkinson's disease caused by a genetic defect in the parkin gene.
