First Name[edit]

Please let it be known that Pasteur IS NOT his name, but his title/function. As still widely customary in Madagascar at the time of his birth, many people only had one name (in his case Rahajason), which today is understood as his last name.

As his decendant, I am grateful that an entry on Wikipedia exists at all. However, for the sake of accuracy, the title should PASTOR RAHAJASON in English, and Pasteur on the French site.
