Monorail?[edit]

Based on the picture, it looks like a guided rail system with the weight on the supporting wheels, not a true monorail. Jpatokal (talk) 04:20, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name: Tramway or Trainways?[edit]

What's the source for the name "... Trainways"? The inscription on the locomotive preserved in New Delhi reads "PATIALA STATE MONORAIL TRAMWAY", but perhaps it's inaccurately restored. Most of the articles linked under "sources" also mention "tramway", even though it's not a tramway in today's sense (electric urban street-running mass transport on rails). --85.127.149.124 (talk) 16:20, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
