I started the article again. There were several attempts (not by me), but the article was deleted each time. Seeing the log, it seems that there were no sources. Really no need for deletion here. Edlinger is one of the greats of modern climbing. Alongside John Bachar, Wolfgang Güllich and Jerry Moffatt he's probably the most influental figure (from the 1980s) in the development of sport climbing.
