Dubious article[edit]

This article is an attempt to discredit me, using my pseudonym in the creation comment. The creator of this article is probably a well-known vandal on fr. I happened to have a discussion with him on an external blog these last two days, and he challenged the merits of fr:Patryck de Froidmont. I am still gathering sources to beef up that article on the WP:fr.

Quite honestly, I do not even know whether Patryck de Froidmont meets WP:en notoriety criteria and I myself would probaby not create this article here based on his artistic carreer that is limited, as far as I know, to Belgium, France, Netherlands and maybe a bit in Germany (as I said, I am still gathering information).

There is probably one thing that would appeal to the typical WP:en reader, it is the fact that the guy created a spoof of Batman a couple of years ago, fr:Bêteman (pronounce ""Bateman", "bête" means "stupid") and was sued by DC Comics (and won the trial). But whether that would suffice to create an article, I do not know, that is why I haven't done it yet.

I suggest this article be scrutinised or even immediately deleted and the creator be put under close surveillance. Bradipus 13:51, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
