(As the person who put together this article) I don't really have any more that I could add from what I have put there - the Wolff book is a catalogue of productions, performances and singers and musicians at the Salle Favart in the first half of the 20th century. There is no entry in Grove, only via the Strasbourg article. If you are researching about Paul Bastide I imagine that there will be things at the Opera du Rhin (a vestibule at the theatre is named after him), possibly in the archive of the DNA. Maybe the archives at the Opera Comique have something (there is also a bookshop across the square from the theatre which may have books or old programmes). I am sorry I have no more to say, if you find something you could add to this page with its reference; or perhaps translate this page to the French wikipedia and see if anyone adds something there. Maybe INA have recordings by him? Good luck.
