Death[edit]

Some sources report that Gosch was executed at Schloss Hartheim, the site of an Action T4 gas chamber; but other sources indicate that that gas chamber was not yet active in August 1940. More and better data and sources on this matter would be highly desirable, I think. Ugajin (talk) 08:41, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Goesch was a brother of my grandfather an I myself am Member of the "Freundeskreis Paul Goesch e. V." in Cologne / Germany. I can tell you, that Paul Goesch has been murdered in Brandenburg / Havel. As far as I know he was killed in the first gas chamber the Nazis built in Germany. The precise place where the gas chamber had been built was within the area of the prison in Brandenburg but directly near to this prison you find a psychiatric clinic also in the presence. The gas chamber (the building) does not exist any more. My ancestors were told that he died from pneumonia at Hartheim but this was the normal procedure to hide place and cause of the death.
