A few months ago, I took the initiative of boldly rewriting Paul Otlet's page. Now I see that you have added a lot to this page in recent days and I'm very happy to see someone expand the article on this fascinating person. I would like to work with you (and other volunteers) on improving this article further and giving more visibility to Paul Otlet in the rest of Wikipedia. Otlet created the Universal Decimal Classification[edit]

In fact, Dewey's classification and Otlet-La Fontaine classification have so many differences that you can really call each one different systems. They share the basics, except the number 4., which is empty in the UDC, whereas it describes Philology in the DDC (Languages are in the number 8. in the UDC). Other remarkable differences are the use of notations and facets. This article is very interesting and important but it doesn't seem to cover Paul Otlet's later years and how he died. Update on Political views and involvement[edit]

I just updated the paragraph Political views and involvement. In conversation with colleagues that have been working on his legacy, we felt a more critical reading of Otlet's political views was overdue.
