Conscientious objector?[edit]

The entry for his band says he was a CO, but there is nothing about it here. It would be interesting to learn the basis, religious or otherwise, for his objection.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicmart (talkcontribs) 03:28, 3 June 2020 (UTC) This article is incorrect when it refers to Drake Levin and Phil Volk as original Raiders. A quick look at the Paul Revere and the Raiders wiki page will confirm this. Steve West, Charlie Coe, Doc Holiday and the White Brothers all slung the six and 4 string guitars before Levin and Volk.[reply]

Paul Revere DickPaul Revere (musician) – Per WP:COMMONNAME: Most widely known as simply "Paul Revere" (who's ever heard of Paul Dick and the Raiders?). His full name is generally only mentioned as trivial asides or in parentheses after his stage name: See all the references in the article as well as the following examples: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]. The full name is not widely used enough to be an alternate title per WP:NCDAB/WP:NCPDAB --Animalparty! (talk) 19:22, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No one knew his real name until his former partner, Mark Allen Lindsay, started blabbing it to any reporter who would listen in the 1990s. He was always known to the general public as Paul Revere. IMO, Mark Lindsay just liked calling Paul a dick.
