chess player?[edit]

Is this the person the Vinograd(ov) Variation in the Ruy Lopez Opening is named after? (There are several other chess players with the same name and living around the same time.) According to Chessgames.com this person (same birth & death date) has won two chess games out of three against Alekhine (Alexander or Alexei...). — MFH:Talk 22:47, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
