This is a very short orphan article. Content could be merged to Paytm leaving a redirect. - Bri (talk) 00:10, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Payments Banks are new type of banks as approved by the Central Bank Of India (RBI). Paytm and Paytm Bank is totally different and independent businesses, just like how Kotak Mahindra Bank deserves a standalone of Kotak Mahindra Bank. All active payments bank who received a license by the central bank deserves a wiki article as it is an important part of the financial and banking system of India now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theaphorist (talkcontribs) 14:45, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how it is significantly different. The stub that was here can continue happily as a section of the other, also pretty short, article. Do note there is no policy saying banks are auto-notable, they have to meet WP:NCORP like all other companies. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:43, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
