Removed the thing about A Boy Named Charlie Brown coming to Blu-Ray. Was no evidence of it, the entry was poorly written, and you didn't cite anything.

I see a 19th episode of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show is listed ("April Fools!" 4/1/1986). Is this a joke? The main entry for the show, and the episode guide attached to it, only list 18 shows. The 19th show is not listed on iTunes (where the whole series is available), nor in any previous collection or reputable source. Wrong title in episode 2

Merge proposal for List of Peanuts specials

I'm not sure why the original nominator didn't start a section to make their case, but the merge proposal needs a section, so I guess I'll start it.

• Merge I tend to agree with the original nominator (whoever they are). The two pages appear to cover most of the same info and the List of Peanuts specials page is tagged as being an orphan anyway. Each special has its own article, so the "Review" section could be eliminated and the DVD sections could easily be added to the List of Peanuts media page. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 14:28, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Peanuts Racing?

I noticed Peanuts Racing being a game listed on the page. Is it actually a game, because I haven't heard of it, nor can I find any information about it anywhere. • "mediagraphy" does not appear to be a real word, as far as dictionaries and other reliable sources are concerned. The only mention I found in a (brief) Google search was a comment at answers.com that claims; "A mediagraphy is a research method that enables researchers (specifically interested in media and globalisation) to search for trends in their use / access to different media among groups and across time, space, and place in order to get a better sense of the true impact of globalisation."

Furthermore, on all entertainment related indecies found here, "filmography" is the standard page title. There are hundreds of entertainers who's filmographies include credits in other than film/t.v. "Filmography" is acceptable in all those instances and should be here as well. We can't just go making up words and sticking them into page titles, just because they "sound cool". - ^theWOLFchild 04:32, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

"65 years collection"

Updates and corrections

I have a WP:COI here (I appear on a few of the documentary featurettes listed) so I'm going to avoid editing myself, but I will make the following suggestions for additions and corrections:

• The new release of Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and don't come back) includes a documentary featurette, "Travels with Charlie: the Making of Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown".
• "He's You're Dog" should be "He's Your Dog"
• "The remaining films were produced and released by Paramount Pictures. On October 9, 2012, it was announced that 20th Century Fox's animation studio, Blue Sky Studios, will produce a new Peanuts movie on the big screen on November 6, 2015." should be "The next two films were produced and release by Paramount Pictures. In 2015, 20th Century Fox's animation studio, Blue Sky Studios, released The Peanuts Movie."
• It seems a little odd to have a commercials section and just list three Cheerios commercials. Peanuts have been appearing in TV ads since the Ford ad campaign of the early 1960s, including a notable run with the Dolly Madison snack cakes, interesting ads for Friendly's restaurants and Regina Carpet Cleaner, recent ones for Target, Wonderful Pistachios, and of course lots of MetLife.
• It also seems odd for the parody section under this particular title to include a play and a print item.
• Missing are the two short films they did for the American Dental Assn on brushing and flossing, and the one they did on pollution.
• Marginal inclusion possibility: Charlie Brown's Career Education Program, which is a filmstrip (i.e., non-moving images, with audio) series.

Additional documentary

There's a 15-minute documentary airing outside of the U.S. called "Peanuts: The Global Phenomenon"; this is a promo piece for The Peanuts Movie covering the history of the strip, how it's beloved around the world, the making of the movie, etc. The only airing so far I specifically know of was on the New Zealand channel Soho Pop-Up on January 4th. I'm not going to add it myself, as I have a strong conflict of interest in this (I appear in the documentary), and I haven't found a great location online to use as verification of its existence, but it is definitely out there. --Nat Gertler (talk) 22:31, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Tables merged badly and/or unnecessarily

It appears that another user has spent a fair bit of time trying to merge the tables for several different subsections of this page. Clearly it hasn't worked and the data has been mixed up (and possibly deleted). I don't really see why the merge was necessary, but hopefully some experienced contributor(s) can sort it out.

Name change for this article

Unofficial works?

Just curious, why is this section included? Reading through the list, this would seem to cover OFFICIAL works, then just tacked on the bottom are some random parodies and a graphic novel? There are so many Peanuts parodies out there that including these few seems out of place and pointless. I think it should just be removed, but I'll leave that to editors who spend more time on here to decide. Just wanted to give my five cents. 173.160.217.233 (talk) 18:13, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Vince Guaraldi soundtracks

This is the only comprehensive WP article about Peanuts animations etc -- except for the main Peanuts article, which currently has better contents:

Please add soundtrack details. What is the name of the Vince Guaraldi theme song? It seems to be the same or similar in many of the CB animations -- how many, which ones? Is it always personally performed by VG? Is a custom version re-recorded for each animation, or do they just keep pasting in the same original recording into each soundtrack? WildBrain Spark webseries

I added this section for the series of YouTube shorts produced by WildBrain Spark. Despite being the first new Peanuts animation from DHX Media, these shorts have never really been publicized beyond an offhand mention by Jean Schulz and an announcement by WildBrain's Twitter account. Erroneously refs

Two of the entries in the Feature Films Reception table are sourced to the Box Office Mojo pages for something called "Boonie Bears". I have no idea if this is an error or vandalism, but in either case, it's incorrect.

Also, the claim that Snoopy, Come Home has the same worldwide gross as its North American gross is wrong, wherever its sourced from. I am at this very moment facing a poster from its release that includes the title in both Finnish and Swedish, so obviously it did have an overseas release. --Nat Gertler (talk) 04:33, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

Episode lists in the TV series sections

I removed the episodes lists in this article that were copied or otherwise duplicated from other articles and I summarized the series in their sections in this article with content from their leads. Also links in headers were not appropriate, use main template instead. If it is desired that the episode list contents are in this article they need to be transcluded from the series articles, not copied from the those articles. Transclusion requires the episode lists in the source be prepared for transclusion first, though, so only the episode lists get inserted in this article, not the entire articles.
