Article in desperate need of a rewrite[edit]

Much of this article is poorly formatted and in need of a rewrite. The article's title refers to the pebble watch, with subsections having information about the company. In my opinion, better formatting would include making the article about the former company, and having subsections about each aspect of the company as well as a dedicated section of each of the company's products. One of the reasons for this is the company's later attempt to diversify into other non-watch products and software such as the pebble core. ~the.one.and.the.only~ (talk) 18:08, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

May 7th, 2020: As there has been no input or activity on the main or talk page on this article, I am beginning a rewrite on a sandbox in my user page. The sandbox will be a WIP until it is finished. ~the.one.and.the.only~ (talk) 04:21, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@~the.one.and.the.only~: Go ahead, the point of Wikipedia is to let anyone make such edits after all. Just a small suggestion: Pebble Inc., the former company, is probably not notable outside this one line of products, so the article should focus on the watch(es) and mention the company only in a section (see also WP:PRODUCT: "Note that a specific product or service may be notable on its own, without the company providing it being notable in its own right.") @SoWhy Interesting perspective - I didn't think of it that way! I might instead focus my efforts on clarifying the separation of the company's products (the article as it stands defines "Pebble (watch)" as only the first product, when the topic "Pebble (watch)" seems to equally cover multiple products, such as the Pebble Time). Again, thanks for the perspective and context :) I'm still pretty new to editing wikipedia haha ~the.one.and.the.only~ (talk) 20:11, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
