First Wife?[edit]

Wasn't Pedro Nava married to someone else at one point? We should probably mention that here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.187.160.28 (talk) 18:49, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?[edit]

There can't be any doubt about his notability, per WP:NPOL # 1, as a member of a state legislature. (non-admin closure) Kraxler (talk) 03:18, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I came across this article while searching articles needing cleaning and I'm not sure if he is notable. The article obviously has issues and a look through the history shows it. My searches found results at News, Highbeam and a few Newspapers Archive. Also a few results at Books (but nothing looks promising) and nothig at Thefreelibrary. It seems he may be notable but I wanted to know before editing the article (if found notable, I'm willing to improve it). SwisterTwister talk 18:35, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notable. Elected officials are considered notable. Andrew327 00:17, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Notable - As above, elected officials are notable. It's a mess though so good luck whipping it into shape :). Flat Out (talk) 00:27, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Robert McClenon: That's what I initially intended but considering the article is a mess and there was a possibility he was notable, I wanted comments rather than a possible AfD where they'll say speedy keep. SwisterTwister talk 18:17, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I made this a stub, as 99.9% of the material was unsourced, per WP:BLP and WP:V. It is in the history, and it can be brought back with appropriate sourcing. - Cwobeel (talk) 00:25, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That is more acceptable, thanks. I was willing to improve it but honestly it seemed like it was going to be too much work (as it is, I'm not a fan or expert of politics). SwisterTwister talk 05:51, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think this RfC is a little off the mark, because AfD is the usual place to determine notability; but for what it's worth, as an elected official he is clearly notable. Cwobeel did the right thing in cleaning out unsourced info. Vanamonde93 (talk) 03:08, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
