Pelican relaunch

Pelican Books was relaunched as a digital imprint in 2014

I don't know how being relaunched as a digital imprint differs in meaning from being relaunched as an imprint, or indeed from just being relaunched. Penguin does seem to have taken it seriously: history of the article Pelican Books makes it look as if that article was ... er ... related to the launch.

Well, Pelican Books relaunched. Did they go anywhere? I don't see any sign of them in Penguin's websites. (OTOH Penguin's websites are sluggish and I quickly lose patience with them; possibly there is something somewhere about Pelicans.) Individual Pelicans, some published as recently as 2018, do appear in the UK branch of a well-known online monopolist; but generalizing from what I see there might constitute "original synthesis", and so I hesitate. -- Hoary (talk) 07:58, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
