I removed two vanity links: V. Dolan Trucking, Penngrove's largest employer; Bauman College, a holistic nutrition and culinary arts school with a branch in Penngrove as they do not belong in an encyclopedia article without a secondary source to back up the claims.

I took out the reference to Sonoma State University in the first paragraph since it is in Rohnert Park, as well as the references to "notable residents," who do not have their own pages on wikipedia explaining who they are (I grew up in Penngrove, have a doctorate, and have no idea who they are). I wasn't sure if it was simply a vanity addition, or not.

I would appreciate it if anyone who knew stories about Ruth Anderson would post discussions about her history since she was Penngrove's longest living (and eldest) resident before her death.

Also, I am going to ask Ellen Harris for permission to reproduce her work digitally, which I hope to make available in PDF by the end of 2007 .

I removed parts of the notable landmarks section because they were serving as little more than a directory for local businesses, against Wikipedia policy (WP:NOTDIR). Jmhuculak - I think that the current number of direct Harris quotations makes the article difficult to read. 76.200.133.130 (talk) 19:31, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
