Road Tax[edit]

The phrase "road tax" is wrong with respect to the UK. See the cycling advocacy site: I Pay Road Tax. I'd replace it with "car tax" but I'm not sure that's quite right either. Nic Doye (talk) 16:07, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The correct term in the UK is 'Vehicle Excise Duty' (VED), or because the amount due is now based on the CO2 emissions of the vehicle in question and is set into Bands it is now officially termed as Graduated VED.
