Is it really fair to say he's successful?[edit]

How many people even know about him? Were it not for Me, Myself, & Irene, I never would have ever heard about him. I think many would agree with me.

Sure, he has a gold album or two, but, well....I think it speaks for itself.

I mean, just look at the talk page :/

I'm not a big fan. But he is often mentioned in music magazines...I would say hes probably one of those artists that on the fringe of popularity and underground.

He also helped lead to the popularity of the singer-songwriter renaissance a la John Mayer. 67.160.161.176 (talk) 07:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, he's successul, he's got a strong following/audience he's argubably one of the best singers/songwriters around or all time ~kp

Hes sold millions of records and is in the top 50 AAA radio artists of all time according to Billboard magazine. He has worked hard his whole career and has and extremely loyal fanbase more than 20 yesrs into his career. If thats not successful what is? Are you successful? Multiple removals of links showing his family's ties to the entertainment industry[edit]

Over the past few years I have noticed that links to his older brothers' industry ties have been deleted multiple times without comment. Isn't it bad form to remove cited material? Why would people remove cited biographical material? Is someone trying to hide the Yorn family's entertainment links to make Pete seem more like an independent phenomenon than the industry insider that he is? What can be done to prevent this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.171.25.191 (talk) 20:41, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whats the relevance to his songs and enduring fanbase? It seems people who add those elements to his career wiki are trying to diminish his hard work and trivialize his real resonance with his fanbase over 20 years and imply some sort of connections over real talent and great songwriting contributed to his over 20 year success. In 2019, he had yet another hit in AAA radio format with “Calm Down”, definable at least was top 3 mediabase. Thats 19 years after his debut spawned multiple #1’s at the format. That is unheard of and is an example of enduring relevance and longevity. Lonfon77 (talk) 00:29, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Paradise Cove EP?[edit]

I've only ever seen it mentioned here, and the two sources don't really give any info. Does anyone know if this was a cancelled release, or was it just a rumor? Should it be included in his singles/eps? 130.191.104.163 (talk) 19:24, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pete Yorn discography[edit]

Support split - Discography section takes up more than one third of the page, and should be split to a new article entitled Pete Yorn discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 08:19, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No, not enough information to support 2 separate articles. Hzh (talk) 14:41, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Acting Career ?[edit]

Should a filmography section be added after acting in Killers of the Flower Moon? Or should that acting role be mentioned somewhere else? 192.68.164.42 (talk) 21:58, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
