Contradiction[edit]

The article Governor of the Bank of England has a fairly complete list, but does not mention this person. Which is correct? akaDruid (talk) 11:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The list does include his son, also Peter du Cane (1741-1822), who was a director of the East India Company in 1764, 1766-69, 1771-73. The subject of this article was a Director from 1750 to 1753. Father now added for completeness. (Plucas58 (talk) 22:10, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
