Updated Biography Section[edit]

On March 2, 2010, I updated the Trademarks subheading of the Biography section to correctly reflect that the supporting character "Spota" appears in nearly half of his films, not every film. I included the list of films that the character did not appear. Xin Jing (talk) 20:42, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Director / Director of Photography[edit]

Hyams seems to be the only film director in recent memory who doubles as his own cinamatographer. (I'm discounting small-budget indepenedent directors who do everything.) If I'm correct about this and he is unique in this respect, it ought to be mentioned. WHPratt (talk) 15:08, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I note that this has been added. However, the footnotes in the filmography don't feature the [DP] and [W] abbreviations, and should be corrected. I'd do it, but I'll bet it's tricky. WHPratt (talk) 00:45, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Small Change[edit]

I just made a small change to the Trademarks section of the page, as the film Stay Tuned is listed as a film in which Hyams did not insert the name Spota into the film. In fact the name Spota is used in a commercial for one of the fictional TV shows featured on the Devil's broadcasting company, in which an announcer introduces a child star by saying "And Tommy Spota as Chuck." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.146.29.54 (talk) 14:52, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
