Notability[edit]

Per WP:CRIMINAL, I believe Peter Keller is notable because the crime in this case, i.e., evading capture in a clandestine bunker, is itself unusual and was well-documented by news media. The only missing criterion is non-contemporaneous sources. I have a hunch that the currently developing story about a hostage situation in a bunker in Alabama will revisit the Peter Keller story. If not then perhaps it's not notable enough for people to remember. --beefyt (talk) 20:16, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ten years after this article is made the case in question has become of 'popular' notability, I assume after a famous YouTuber covered it (or it got popular on TikTok, of all places? can't tell which) 90,000 views. Christ.
Still not enough notability for Wikipedia so I redirected it after the PROD but given the surge in interest there is a non-0 chance it may have reliable sources in the future. Though I wouldn't bet on it. Kinda wild to watch TBH, I noticed this case a few months ago after assessing it, and for it to become of popular interest now is odd to see.
