1969 or 1975[edit]

I've noticed on the main page, it says that Peter R. Newman died in 1975 after an accident. I always thought it was in 1969 following a bout of depression. Through a search on Ancestry, I couldn't find any Peter R. Newmans who died in 1969 but I did find a Peter Richard Newman who was born on 4 June 1926 and died between January and March 1975 in Westminster London, which could be him. Does anyone have an official source to prove which year it is? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.0.208 (talk) 17:13, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Which Peter R Newman?[edit]

Can someone add what the R stands for, to distinguish this Peter R Newman from me (Peter Raymond Newman), please? I'm the one at http://www.linkedin.com/in/peterrnewman Thanks P.r.newman (talk) 12:57, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're a nonentity, we don't need to distinguish him from you. . . Mean as custard (talk) 11:57, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean "we", yellow man? Still, thanks to 27.100.8.78 for putting in the Richard. I appreciate the need to avoid self-promotion but this was motivated by being asked if I'm the TV writer, since I also publish as Peter R. Newman (and hope one day to be recognised as an entity ;-) P.r.newman (talk) 14:27, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
