Meaning?[edit]

I don't understand what "fl. 1224–1252." in the first sentence means. If it is supposed to be his birth/death years, that implies he was 28 when he died. This seems unlikely given his career. Novellasyes (talk) 00:38, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
