Washington’s political profile is climbing swiftly – no pun intended re his pending air travel role. Schumer just announced that he is going to push the FAA nomination through, so there will be a quick significant increase in readership. Given the FAA safety-computer failure and the 17,000 Southwest storm cancellations, this is an extremely important nomination for the Biden administration now. (The fight in the Senate will be brutal, I predict.) I’m only a copy editor, with very limited bandwidth for WP efforts. I just added a Description and corrected his career characterization in the Intro, but don’t have the capacity to do much more right now. A very good FIRST step for someone who knows how to do it, which I don’t, would be to correct the article title to use his proper first name and set up a redirect on “Phil.” There will be dozens of RS articles about him very quickly now.
