Untitled[edit]

I propose that some editor change the title of this entry from the German-language "Philharmoniker Hamburg" to the English-language "Hamburg Philharmonic." The precedent is well-established: English-language Wikipedia calls the Berliner Philharmoniker the "Berlin Philharmonic," the Wiener Philharmoniker the "Vienna Philharmonic," the "Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest" the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the "Kungliga Filharmonikerna" /"Kungliga Filharmoniska Orkesternand" the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and so forth and so on.Brozhnik (talk) 19:04, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

The present name of the orchestra is Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg (Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra) https://www.staatsorchester-hamburg.de/ (since 2015?, no source). I propose to rename the page to english version? Grimes2 (talk) 15:22, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
