Phil Hart deserves an expanded look at his Senate career. It was not for nothing that he was called 'The Conscience of the Senate'; the article gives us litle idea why. If need be I'll get to it (I own his bio) but it may take a bit. Also, the article needs references, but I can't bring myself to tag the article. Jusdafax (talk) 00:28, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More like it gives us NO idea why. If not for the whole 99-0 in favour of naming a building after him as a farewell honour, one might even think that it was a sarcastic nickname. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.79.11.122 (talk) 05:46, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. There is no discussion of his legislative record over a period of almost 18 years. He was one of the great liberal lions of the era. This article? Bupkis.Maccb (talk) 04:04, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
