A screenwriter?

What exactly is Philippa Langley's claim to be a screenwriter? Deb (talk) 22:12, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

For example: http://www.scottishscreen.com/news/news_story2.php?news_id=653&page_id=&sub_id=76 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.134.186.235 (talk) 03:19, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

So basically like a novelist who hasn't been published yet? Deb (talk) 12:28, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Agreed and have corrected it. IMDb has her as an "associate producer", rather than screenwriter. I think it's fair to delete it since there's no evidence of professional screenwriting, just that a script has been written, and the person is not noteworthy as a screenwriter, but rather as the person who was prominent in the search for Richard III's grave. Let's wish her (and the film) success enough to change it back eh? AmericanEnglish (talk) 09:30, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Philippa Langley edits

It appears that the article has now been edited to the subject's own specification by her colleague Mary Jepson (who might have got away with it if she had read the wikipedia guidelines first and hadn't declared her conflict of interest quite so openly). I don't see any urgent reason to remove or revert her edits. However, as it stands, the article has been compromised and needs to be carefully watched from now on to ensure that it doesn't become a promotional outlet for Ms Langley.
