Is there a source for the snippet on minimal pairs in Korean (halfway through section 2.1)? I think it's either written in an unclear way or somehow misunderstanding how Korean is pronounced. A minimal pair example that comes to mind is 덜 (less) vs 털 (fur). I think maybe they're talking about T-stops, where multiple characters all make the [t] sound when at the end of a syllable? but I don't see anything in the section that suggests that, and in that case, I think they're technically the same phoneme, just represented by different characters.
