Some content in wrong article[edit]

Most of this content belongs in Piasecki Helicopter or Boeing Helicopters. 65.166.89.2 (talk) 16:01, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring over status of company and its website[edit]

An IP editor is insisting that the Piasecki website has been recently updated. They have a point, please see the company home page for April 2018 on the Internet Archive (aka Wayback Machine), to which they drew our attention in an edit comment. May I suggest that other editors hold back on claims of inactivity unless you know more about, and can source, those claims. Verifiable information on their presence (or otherwise) at the show advertised there, Quad A 2018, Nashville, Tennessee, US, would be even better. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 16:40, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"the Piasecki website" is too vague. I checked - and checked again before writing this - that www.piasecki.com still reports "We are upgrading our web site", but another phrase suddenly became "Thank you and we will return this Winter" where it long read "Thank you and we will return this Summer". Still no indication of "the Winter of WHAT year". So yes there may be some life in the website but it all continues to smell very fishy. That is correct up to a point, but not wholly correct. A website going quiet for a few months is insufficient evidence that its owner has gone quiet for several years. The Wayback Machine records not only that the site was active in April 2018, but that it also published a similar announcement for the 2017 show. The notice of rebuilding was absent on both occasions. This is reliable evidence that the claim of years of silence is not merely unsupported but is just plain false. What we do not have is any verifiable evidence of what else might or might not have been going on in the mean time, such as what was presented at the show in those two years. Will someone add Piasecki's Air Scout UAS, please?[edit]

I have found two (2) web pages concerning the Air Scout on Piasecki Aircraft Corporation's website, here: www.piasecki.com/air-scout and here www.piasecki.com/piac-unveils-next-generation-air-scout-uas (This last web page is a press release dated December 10, 2018).

UAS means this: Unmanned Air System. And the Air Scout is a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft.

Thank you. I believe the Air Scout name is registered, like this: Air Scout®.
