Image[edit]

Does anyone have any info on the image of Gibault used in the article? (File:Gibault.png) I found it used in English's "Conquest" volume 1, page 183, but it doesn't state where the image came from. Is it an actual sketch of Gibault, or something that someone drew 100 years later? The same image is used by the Illinois State Museum. There's also a painting at Dictionary of Canadian Biography that seems to be based on the sketch. I assume it was used for the statue, as well? Canute (talk) 18:31, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
